The NANOG Beer 'n Gear is a great time to socialize with meeting attendees - your technology-savvy colleagues from a wide spectrum of networking organizations. The Beer 'n Gear will take place in the Biltmore's famous Crystal Ballroom, the largest and most spectacular of their venues. It was the location of the founding of the Academy Awards in 1927. The second-story balconies surround the entire ballroom offering a great setting to overlook the entire scene. The ballroom has a 30-foot ceiling with a seamless handpainted fresco, embellished columns, Austrian crystal chandeliers, and very lush decor.
