First Time At NANOG?Start Here!Sunday ActivitiesWelcome to NANOG! Sunday's activities begin at 2 p.m. with (optional) tutorials and a BOF (birds-of-a-feather session), followed by a 5:30 p.m. NANOG Community Meeting (where committee reports are given and the community can ask questions of the committee chairs and Merit Network--the organization that coordinates all NANOG meetings.) An optional offsite social also begins at 7:00 p.m. Monday - Wednesday Activities Please plan to attend the Newcomers' Continental Breakfast on Monday at 8:30 a.m. in Millennium Hall. Continental breakfast will also be available in the Regency Foyer. Monday's General Session will start at 9:30 a.m. A copy of the abbreviated meeting agenda is included with your name badge, and a complete agenda can be found at: http://nanog.org/meetings/nanog46/agenda.php Slides for all General Session talks will be linked off the agenda page just prior to the talk. The General Sessions are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesdayfrom 9:30 - 4 and the various concurrent breakouts (tutorials and BoFs) are Sunday, Monday and Tuesday afternoons. Approximately two weeks after the meeting a copy of the recorded Tutorials will be placed on the meeting website. Monday Evening Monday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. is the Beer ‘n Gear. It's a time to socialize with attendees and with engineers from sponsoring companies, who are there to answer your questions and hear your comments. Enjoy the beer, wine, and appetizers provided by the sponsors. An optional offsite social also begins at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday Evening Tuesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. there will be an opportunity to sign-up for last-minute informal BOF's. Sign-up sheets will be noted by NANOG registration. An optional offsite social also begins at 8:00 p.m. Public Workstations You'll find two public workstations and a printer by the NANOG registration desk. Wireless Network If the wireless network isn't up yet, it will be shortly. The wireless network SSID for 802.11 B/G is nanog, the wireless network SSID for 802.11 A is nanog-a, and the wireless network SSID for IPv6 only in nanog-v6. For information about the wireless network and IPv6 connectivity, check the instruction sheet at the registration desk.
