The Submitter enters abstract (and draft slides if possible) into the PC (Program Committee) Tool prior to the deadline for slide submission.
PC performs initial review and assigns a “shepherd” to help develop the submission — typically within 2 weeks. The shepherd will guide the Submitter through the rest of the process as their liaison.
Submitter develops draft slides of talk if not already submitted with the initial proposal. Please submit initial draft slides early. Submissions with slides are generally favored by the PC; slides allow the PC to visualize what the submitter intends to present and thus are easier to be accepted for the NANOG program. A NANOG slide template as well as presentation guidelines are available here: https://www.nanog.org/participate/presentation-guidelines
Panel and Track submissions should provide a topic list and intended/confirmed participants in the abstract.
PC reviews the slides and continues to work with Submitter as needed to develop the topic.
Draft presentation slides should be submitted prior to the published deadline for slides.
PC evaluates submissions to determine presentations for the NANOG Program .
Agenda assembled and posted.
Final presentation slides must be submitted prior to the published deadline for slides.
Remote presentations are pre-recorded at least two weeks before the conference start date to allow for post-processing by NANOG staff.
