Tutorial: Optical Fiber Capacity Limits - Where Do We Go Next? - I found the tutorial incredibly interesting! Of course, with 90-minute segments, it's always a gamble, but this was packed full of information, and Geoff Bennett did a superb job presenting the content.

• Global NOG Alliance Task Force: Keep Ukraine Connected - It is great to see how the Global NOG Alliance brings the Internet community together to help operators in need. Thanks to all the volunteers who are behind this initiative!
• Automating Peering - Very impressive to hear how a hyperscaler handles worldwide peering, and not just how to automate it but also how it impacted operations.
• The Anatomy of the Most Challenging Network Engineering Interview Question - Very insightful with many angles I've never really thought about. This is one of the presentations that I would like to see more of.

• Global NOG Alliance Task Force: Keep Ukraine Connected - Come on, tell me you're not fascinated by what is going on to keep Ukraine connected to the rest of the world while under attack.
• BGP Flowspec: A Look-Back and a Look Forward - Some candid conversation about everyone's favorite BGP-based foot removal extension.
• Keynote: Building Remotely During a Pandemic - Google's network investments in Africa: the Equiano subsea cable - ships, fiber, and massive growth potential. What's not to love?
• Tutorial: Optical Fiber Capacity Limits - Where Do We Go Next? - I swear I'm going to make our new hires watch this.
• How to Debug RPKI issues? Overview of RPKI data structures and tooling - who's not a fan of digging into the gore of RPKIs menagerie of artifacts?

Alex Latzko - Deft 

• Opening Keynote: IPv6, on by Default - Vint, and JJB are always fun to watch, and they were touching on some current problems in wide deployment with a historical perspective.
• Global NOG Alliance Task Force: Keep Ukraine Connected - Good and necessary work, some images they showed regarding overcoming adversity were amazing.
• Universal Acceptance of Valid Domain Names and Email Addresses: Challenges and Solutions - Some very interesting insights into the intended and unintended effects of global language (Unicode, etc.) support.
• ARIN Update - Always nice to know what's happening in our local RIR.

Cat Gurinsky - Apple 

• Global NOG Alliance Task Force: Keep Ukraine Connected -This was probably my favorite from N85, mainly because the war is such a hot topic on the news all the time, and it was fascinating and inspiring to see all the work these people are doing to keep the internet up and running in the middle of war zones. They are doing such incredibly needed work right now. 
• Panel: World IPv6 Reunion Tour 2022 - This was so great to hear all the stories of the early days of trying to launch IPv6. The spread of panelists was great, too; all had intriguing experiences to share. 
• Panel: An overview of EU and African NOGS - I loved hearing about the different experiences each group has had in forming their NOG, staying in touch during COVID, and surviving breaks from in-person meetings, and I also found the ENOG disbandment story highly interesting (and sad) as a result of the current war. 
• The Anatomy of the Most Challenging Network Engineering Interview Question - A follow-up to a prior talk Kam gave and relevant material for those who conduct interviews to consider. This covered many common pitfalls and wrongful assumptions/expectations we have around what a candidate should answer versus the reality of the abundant options of answers.
• Tutorial: Optical Fiber Capacity Limits - Where Do We Go Next? - This was a very educational talk, even for someone like me who has seen other very in-depth optical tutorials given at prior NANOGs by other speakers. I found Geoff to be a very good speaker, and he was able to keep my attention throughout the entire lengthy but highly detailed tutorial.

Kam Agahian - Oracle

• Women in Executive Leadership - Unique and long-awaited panel. Speakers were from diverse backgrounds and the topics discussed were indeed real challenges to many people.
• The Anatomy of the Most Challenging Network Engineering Interview Question- Rarely covered topic that was community-driven and based on the feedback we received from previous NANOG meetings. Again, a hush-hush problem that many are facing.
• Buying and selling IPv4 addresses - Same pattern. A rarely covered topic that you can find very little information about.
