This webinar will cover the fundamentals of the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) as well as service-provider operational insights and challenges not necessarily highlighted in textbooks.
Speaker: Aaron Atac - Subspace
After graduating with honors from DePaul University with a BSc in Network Engineering and Security, Aaron joined Akamai where he and his team were primarily responsible for engineering the global production network. During his time with Akamai, he helped build their first-ever global backbone, directly contributing to augmenting Akamai's global network by 100+ Tbps in capacity. After almost four years at Akamai, Aaron has recently joined Subspace to help their efforts in reducing latency for gamers around the world. He’s inspired by the opportunity for gamers to build social relationships and experiences across borders.
